Sledding Hill (April)
I photographed this same sledding hill four months ago, on December 13th (it was Friday the 13th). That was one of the only times it was pretty snowy in Central Ohio. I remember I was one of the only ones out in the huge park, and I felt a little bit on edge in the complete white stillness.
Today when I went back, nearly four months to the day, everything was different. Everything was green. There were dozens and dozens of people grilling, flying kites, wading in the rivers. And that same sledding hill looked like a different beast entirely.
You see, this kind of stuff makes me really excited to photograph the same locations throughout time. Time is amazing.
