I had a little extra time today to photograph, so I went back to a different section of Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. This was the first time that the area surrounding the park was more interesting to me than the actual park. Most of these Metro Parks are situated in the middle of classic Middle American grossness (chain restaurants, suburban homes, malls, etc), so it’s always a relief to enter the park and get away from that.
But this particular section of this particular park was in the middle of expansive fields. And if you know anything about me, you know that I absolutely love fields. So I actually spent more time today photographing the land surrounding the park than I did the land in the confines of the park. Nevertheless, here are a few shots that I liked.
